(c) By Henry's law,
$p_{\text {gas }} \propto X_{\text {gas }}$ (in liquid solution)
and $p_{\text {gas }}=K_{ H } \times \chi_{\text {gas }}$
$K_{ H }=$ Henry's law constant.
$\therefore$ At a given partial pressure of gas,
$K_{ H } \propto \frac{1}{\chi_{\text {gas }}}$
$\therefore$ The greater the value of $K_{H}$, the less its solubility.
Here, $K_{ H }$ of $Ar\, >\, O _{2}\,>\, CO _{2}\,>\, CH _{4}$.
$\therefore$ Solubility of $CH _{4}\,>\, CO _{2}\,> \,O _{2}> Ar$.
