(in $Rs.$)
A
$1956$
B
$1586$
C
$1496$
D
$1596$
Solution
The shopkeeper sells $10,$ notebooks in a day, then in two weeks (i.e., $14$ days) he sells $=14 \times 10=140$ notebooks
Commission earned $=45 \times \frac{4}{100} \times 140$
$=Rs.\, 252$
Sells 6 pencil boxes in a day, then in two weeks he sells
(i.e., $14$ days) $=14 \times 6$
$=84$ pencil boxes
Commission earned $=80 \times \frac{20}{100} \times 84=₹ 1344$
Total commission earned $=252+1344=Rs.\, 1596$
