Solution
In the extraction of copper, reactions occurs:
$2 Cu _2 S +3 O _2 \rightarrow 2 Cu _2 O +2 SO _2$
$Cu _2 S +2 Cu _2 O \rightarrow 6 Cu + SO _2$
and
$2 Cu _2 S +5 O _2 \rightarrow 2 CuSO _4+2 CuO$
$2 Cu _2 S + CuSO _4 \rightarrow 4 Cu +2 SO _2$
Also, copper is not reduced by carbon/carbon monoxide.
