$(i)$ In banyan tree, prop roots are produced from nodes located below stem and develop downwards and touch the soil. Prop roots work for support.
$(ii)$ In sugarcane, stilt roots are produced from the nodes of lower side of stem and enter into the soil and provide strength to plants and also give protection to plant against the wind.
