At Cathode : $4A{l^{3 + }}(l)\, + \,12{e^ – }\, \to \,4Al\,(l)$
At anode : $6{O^{2 – }}(l) \to \,3{O_2}(g)\, + \,12{e^ – }\,$
$2C\, + \,3{O_2} \to 3C{O_2}( \uparrow )$
