Solution
Let the third number be $x$
Second number $=2 \times x=2 x$
First number $=2 \times 2 x=4 x$
Average of reciprocal of numbers $=\frac{1}{3}\left(\frac{1}{x}+\frac{1}{2 x}+\frac{1}{4 x}\right)$
$=\frac{1}{3 x}\left(\frac{4+2+1}{4}\right)=\frac{7}{12 x}=\frac{7}{72}$
$x=6$
Numbers are $6,12,24$
