B

C

$145$

D

Solution

Let $CP$ of pen for Seema be $Rs.\,100$

Seema $\underline{25 \%}$ Sapna $\underline{10 \%}$ Asha $\underline{5 \%}$ Kavita

$(100)$             $(125)$          $(137.5)$         $(144.375)$

Here, Asha sold her pen at $Rs.\,144.375$ if seema bought it at $Rs.\,100$ If Asha sold pen for Rs. $231,$ Seema bought it at

$=$ Rs. $\left[\frac{100}{144.375} \times 231\right]= Rs .160$
