Solution
Oogonia are called as gamete mother cell. Corpus luteum is formed as a temporary endocrine structure after the ovulation. It is involved in the production of relatively high levels of progesterone and moderate levels of estradiol and inhibin A to maintain pregnancy. A large number of primary follicles degenerate during the phase from birth to puberty.
