(i) The method of producing fruits without fertilisation of ovule is called non fertilised fruit development. This method is used for development of seedless fruits commercially eg. Banana, Grapes. (ii) This method is more useful in fruit juice industries.

Importance of Apomixis : $(i)$ During Apomixis neither chromosomes separate nor connect. So characteristics are maintained till many generations. $(ii) $ Commercial hybrid production can be easily explained because there is no need for isolation process for either maintaining parent offspring or to separate first generation.
