(b)Cyclomorphosis refers to a seasonal polymorphism frequently observed in plankton organisms (e.g. dinoflagellates, rotifers and Daphnia). It is exhibited primarily by organisms that reproduced throughout most of the year by asexual or parthenogenetic means giving rise to genetically homogeneous clones.
