$\left[\begin{array}{ll}4 & 3 \\ x & 5\end{array}\right]=\left[\begin{array}{ll}y & z \\ 1 & 5\end{array}\right]$

$x=3$,  $y=4$,  $z=3$

$x=1$,  $y=4$,  $z=2$

$x=1$,  $y=4$,  $z=3$

D

$x=1$,  $y=5$,  $z=3$

Solution

Given : $\left[\begin{array}{ll}4 & 3 \\ x & 5\end{array}\right]=\left[\begin{array}{ll}y & z \\ 1 & 5\end{array}\right]$

As the given matrices are equal, their corresponding elements are also equal.

Comparing the corresponding elements, we get :

$x=1,\, y=4$ and $z=3$
