(a) The greater vestibular glands $(Bartholin’s glands)$ are paired glands situated one on each side of the veginal opening.
These glands are homologous to the bulbourethral $(cowper’s)$ gland of male and secrete viscid fluid that supplements lubrication during sexual inter course.
