She calculated that each glass'of juice would need $3$ oranges. How much should she charge per glass of juice so as to make $20 \%$ profit in $Rs?$

A

$7.20$

B

$7.40$

C

$7.60$

D

$7.80$

Solution

Total $CP$

$=[ CP$ of $30$ dozen orange $]+[ CP$ of stall fee $]$

$\Rightarrow 8 \times 30+500=$ $Rs. 740$

Here, Nutan calculated that each glass needs $3$ oranges and she wants to make $20 \%$ profit

Per glass price $=\frac{740}{30 \times 12} \times 3 \times 1.20=$ $Rs. 7.40$
