त्रिभुज का क्षेत्रफल $ = \frac{1}{2}\left( {\mathop A\limits^ \to \times \mathop B\limits^ \to } \right)$
$ = \frac{1}{2}\,\left| {\begin{array}{*{20}{c}}{\hat i}&{\hat j}&{\hat k}\\2&1&{ – 1}\\1&1&1\end{array}} \right|$$ = \frac{1}{2}\left| {2\hat i – 3\hat j + \hat k} \right|$$ = \frac{1}{2}\sqrt {4 + 9 + 1} $
