The given diagram shows the sectional view of a mitochondrion.
Identify the parts labelled as $A , B , C , D\; \& \; E$

$A -$ Outer membrane, $B -$ Inner membrane, $C -$ Matrix, $D -$ Inter-membrane space, $E -$ Crista
$A-$ Outer membrane, $B -$ Inner membrane, $C -$ Intermembrane space, $D-$ Matrix, $E -$ Crista
$A -$ Outer membrane, $B -$ Inner membrane, $C -$ Matrix, $D -$ Crista, $E -$ Inter membrane space
$A -$ Outer membrane, $B -$ Inner membrane, $C- $ Crista, $D-$ Matrix, $E -$ Intermembrane space
Solution
In the given diagram of mitochondria, the structure marked as $A, B, C, D$ and $E$ are respectively outer membrane, inner membrane, matrix (space within the inner membrane), intermembrane space (the space between the outer and inner membranes) and crista (formed by infolding's of the inner membrane). Mitochondria are a membrane-bound organelle found in most eukaryotic cells and also called as the power house of the cell.
