Solution

Initially the SI was Rs. 7128

$\Rightarrow SI =\frac{ P \times R \times T }{100} \Rightarrow 7128=\frac{19800 \times R \times 3}{100}$

$\Rightarrow R=12 \%$

$\Rightarrow \quad C I=P\left[\left(1+\frac{R}{100}\right)^{T}-1\right]$

$=19800\left[\left(1+\frac{12}{100}\right)^{3}-1\right]$ (Time $=3$ years

$=19800\left[(1.12)^{3}-1\right]=19800[1.4049-1]$

$= Rs .8017 .5744$
