Haemochorial placenta has only three barriers. Maternal part of placenta is completely absent. It occurs in
humans, apes, lemurs.
Metadiscoidal – Diffuse first, then discoidal.
Deciduate – $A$ portion of uterine tissue is detached and passed out at birth.
Chorionic – Formed by chorionic villi
