નીચેના આપેલ બહુપદી માં જો  $x -1$ એ $p(x)$ નો એક અવયવ હોય તો $k$ ની કિંમત શોધો : $p(x)=k x^{2}-\sqrt{2} x+1$

Solution

$x-1$ એ $p(x)$ નો અવયવ છે.                   $\therefore $ $p(1)=0$ થાય.

$p(x)=k x^{2}-\sqrt{2} x+1$

$\therefore p(1)=k(1)^{2}-\sqrt{2}(1)+1$

$\therefore \quad 0=k(1)-\sqrt{2}+1$

$\therefore \quad 0=k-\sqrt{2}+1$

$\therefore \sqrt{2}-1=k$

$\therefore k=\sqrt{2}-1$
