(b) ${(a + b)^2} = 4ab{\sin ^2}\theta $

$ \Rightarrow {\sin ^2}\theta  = \frac{{{{(a + b)}^2}}}{{4ab}} \le 1 $

$\Rightarrow {(a + b)^2} – 4ab \le 0$

$ \Rightarrow {(a – b)^2} \le 0 $

$\Rightarrow a = b.$
