પૃથ્વીની ત્રિજ્યા અડધી થતા,
$g^{\prime} =\frac{4}{3} \pi G \left(\frac{ R _{e}}{2}\right) \rho=\frac{1}{2}\left(\frac{4}{3} \pi GR _{e} \rho\right)$
$\therefore g^{\prime} =\frac{g}{2}$
વજન $W \propto g$
$\therefore \frac{ W ^{\prime}}{ W }=\frac{g^{\prime}}{g}$
$\therefore W^{\prime} =W \times \frac{1}{2}$
$\therefore W^{\prime} =\frac{W}{2}$
