4-1.Complex numbers
easy

यदि $4 x+i(3 x-y)=3+i(-6),$ जहाँ $x$ और $y$ वास्तविक संख्याएँ हैं, तब $x$ और $y$ ज्ञात कीजिए।

A

$x=\frac{3}{4}$,$y=\frac{33}{4}$

B

$x=\frac{3}{4}$,$y=\frac{33}{4}$

C

$x=\frac{3}{4}$,$y=\frac{33}{4}$

D

$x=\frac{3}{4}$,$y=\frac{33}{4}$

Solution

We have

$4 x+i(3 x-y)=3+i(-6)$…..$(1)$

Equating the real and the imaginary parts of $(1)$, we get

$4 x=3,3 x-y=-6$

which, on solving simultaneously, give $x=\frac{3}{4}$ and $y=\frac{33}{4}$
