(b) $f(x) = \frac{{{{\sin }^{ – 1}}(3 – x)}}{{\log \left[ {|x| – 2} \right]}}$
माना $g(x) = {\sin ^{ – 1}}(3 – x)$ ==> $ – 1 \le 3 – x \le 1$; $g(x)$ का डोमेन (प्रान्त) $[2, 4]$ है
माना $h(x) = \log \left[ {|x| – 2} \right]$ ==> $|x| – 2 > 0$
==> $|x|\, > 2$ ==> $x < – 2$ या $x > 2$
==> $( – \infty ,\, – 2) \cup (2,\,\infty )$
हम जानते हैं कि
$(f/g)(x) = $$\frac{{f(x)}}{{g(x)}}\forall x \in {D_1} \cap {D_2} – \left\{ {x \in R:g(x) = 0} \right\}$
$\therefore$ $f(x)$ का डोमेन (प्रान्त) $ = (2,\,4] – \{ 3\} $$ = (2,\,3) \cup (3,\,4]$.
