$\,\frac{{{\rm{2}}{{\rm{b}}^{\rm{2}}}}}{a}\,\, = \,\,8$ અને $\frac{3}{{\sqrt 5 }}\,\, = \,\,\sqrt {1\, + \,\,\frac{{{b^2}}}{{{a^2}}}} $
અથવા $\frac{4}{5}\,\,\, = \,\,\frac{{{b^2}}}{{{a^2}}}$
$ \Rightarrow \,\,a\,\, = \,\,5,\,\,b\,\, = \,\,2\,\,\sqrt 5 $
આથી માંગેલ અતિવલય નું સમીકરણ
$\frac{{{x^2}}}{{25}}\, – \,\,\frac{{{y^2}}}{{20}}\,\, = \,\,1\,\, \Rightarrow \,\,4{x^2}\,\, – \,\,5{y^2}\,\, = \,\,100$
