નીચેના આપેલ બહુપદી માં જો  $x -1$ એ $p(x)$ નો એક અવયવ હોય તો $k$ ની કિંમત શોધો : $p(x)=2 x^{2}+k x+\sqrt{2}$

$k =-2-\sqrt{2}$

$k =-2+\sqrt{2}$

$k =2-\sqrt{2}$

$k =2+\sqrt{2}$

Solution

$x-1$ એ $p(x)$ નો અવયવ છે.                   $\therefore $ $p(1)=0$ થાય.

$p(x)=2 x^{2}+k x+\sqrt{2}$

$\therefore p(1)=2(1)^{2}+k(1)+\sqrt{2}$

$\therefore \quad 0=2(1)+k+\sqrt{2}$

$\therefore \quad 0=2+k+\sqrt{2}$

$\therefore-2-\sqrt{2}=k$

$\therefore-(2+\sqrt{2})=k$

$\therefore k=-(2+\sqrt{2})$
