Solution
दिया गया निकाय असंगत होगा, जब $D = 0$$\left| {\,\begin{array}{*{20}{c}}1&1&1\\1&2&3\\1&2&\lambda\end{array}\,} \right|\, = 0$
संक्रिया ${C_1} \to {C_1} – {C_2}$ तथा ${C_2} \to {C_2} – {C_3}$ से,
$\Rightarrow$ $\left| {\,\begin{array}{*{20}{c}}0&0&1\\{ – 1}&{ – 1}&3\\{ – 1}&{2 – \lambda }&\lambda\end{array}\,} \right|\, = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $ – 1(2 – \lambda ) – 1 = 0 \Rightarrow \lambda = 3$.
