(b)
$(i)$ From $0$ to $2 \,s$ the velocity $=0$ as displacement is zero.
$(ii)$ From $2$ to $5 \,s$ velocity is decreasing but nature is positive, but acceleration is negative.
So, $v$ and $a$ have opposite nature.
