Solution

Four identical rods $A, B, C, D$ which having $A C$ amd $B D$ as a diagonal point.

let the temprature at $A=T^{\circ}\,C$

$\therefore$ at $C=t+100^{\circ}\,C$

Heat is conducted from $A$ to $C$ via $B$ or $D$.

$B \& D$ lies midway along with the passing of

heat conduction through $A B C$ and $A D C$

Hence, temprature of $B$

$=\frac{t+(t+100)}{2}$

$=t+50^{\circ}\,C$

similanly, temprature of $D$

$=\frac{t+t+100}{2}$

$=t+50^{\circ}\,C$

So, the difference of tempralure $(B D)$

$=t+50-t-50$

$t=0^{\circ}\,C$
