આકૃતિમાં દર્શાવ્યા પ્રમાણે એક વિદ્યુતભારીત બોલ $B$ ને વિદ્યુતભારીત વિશાળ વાહક તકતી સાથે $\theta$ ખૂણો બનાવતી રેશમની દોરી $S$ પરથી લટકાવેલ છે. તકતીની પૃષ્ઠ વિદ્યુતભારની ઘનતા $\sigma$ ........ ને સમપ્રમાણમાં હોય છે.

Solution
$Fe = T\, sin \theta …….(1)$
$Mg = T \,cos \theta ……….(2)$
$(1) / (2)$ કરતાં
$Fe/Mg = tan\theta ⇒ Fe = Mg \,tan \theta ⇒ qE = mg\, tan\theta $
$q\,\, \times \,\,\frac{\sigma }{{{ \in _0}}}\,\, = \,\,mg\,\,\tan \theta \,\,\,\,\therefore \,\,\,\sigma \,\, = \,\,\frac{{mg\,\,{ \in _0}}}{q}\,\,\tan \theta $ તેથી $\sigma \,\, \propto \,\,\tan \,\,\theta $
