$\mathrm{KE}=\frac{\mathrm{p}^2}{2 \mathrm{~m}}$
Same momentum, so less mass means more $\mathrm{KE}$.
So $\frac{\mathrm{m}}{2}$ will have $\max$. $\mathrm{KE}$.
