(c) प्रथम स्थिति में, $e = \sqrt {1 – (25/169)} $

द्वितीय स्थिति में,  $e'\, = \sqrt {1 – ({b^2}/{a^2})} $

प्रश्नानुसार, $\sqrt {1 – {b^2}/{a^2}}  = \sqrt {1 – (25/169)} $

$ \Rightarrow \,\,\frac{b}{a} = \frac{5}{13}$,

$\frac{a}{b} = \frac{13}{5}.$
