(b) दिया गया समीकरण ${x^3} – 3x + 2 = 0$ है।
$\Rightarrow$ ${x^2}(x – 1) + x(x – 1) – 2(x – 1) = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $(x – 1)({x^2} + x – 2) = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $(x – 1)(x – 1)(x + 2) = 0$
अत: मूल $1,1, – 2$ हैं।
