$L.H.S.$ $=\frac{2 \cos \frac{7 x+5 x}{2} \cos \frac{7 x-5 x}{2}}{2 \cos \frac{7 x+5 x}{2} \sin \frac{7 x-5 x}{2}}$

$=\frac{\cos x}{\sin x}=\cot x= R.H.S.$
