(d)Let $z = x + iy,\overline z = x – iy$
Since $arg(z) = \theta = {\tan ^{ – 1}}\frac{y}{x}$
$arg(\overline z ) = \theta = {\tan ^{ – 1}}\left( {\frac{{ – y}}{x}} \right)$
Thus $arg(z) \ne arg(\overline z )$.
