(d) सरल रेखा $y = mx + c$,

अतिपरवलय $\frac{{{x^2}}}{{{a^2}}} – \frac{{{y^2}}}{{{b^2}}} = 1$ को स्पर्श करती है;

यदि ${c^2} = {a^2}{m^2}$$ – {b^2}$

यहाँ  $m =  – 1$, $c = \sqrt 2 p,$  ${a^2} = 9,\,\,{b^2} = 4$

इस प्रकार $2{p^2} = 5.$
